Learning About Shapes

In maths we have been learning about shapes.  We learned that the triangle is a strong, rigid shape.  That is why you can see it being used in the environment a lot.  With this in mind, we worked in teams to try and make a strong bridge using art straws and sellotape.  Some groups included triangles in their design which meant they had a strong bridge and used very little materials.
